How to declare a thread as solved?

Is there a way to declare a thread as [solved] or to edit a Topic that way?

Unfortunately not with the current forum software - users can only edit their posts for a short period (up to 1 hour I think) after which only a moderator or webmaster can edit them.

There are plans to update the forum software at some point in the future - hopefully this will be an issue that gets resolved :-)
