Hi,
I have a live server on which there are many websites hosted . I want to convert this RHEL 4 server to CentOS one.
Which version of centos should I migrate to? I want to upgrade mysql and php to the latest version.
I cant risk compiling them manually as the server is a live one. So will the migration to Centos affect the mysql database and php websites.
Sure I will be doing a backup.
Can anyone advise me on this!
Thanks in advance!!!!!

CentOS 4 would be the appropriate version. See the section near the bottom of the Wiki HowTos/MigrationGuide article. It addresses CentOS 5 but the procedure is similar.
