/proc/diskstats

Post by sfwalter » 2006/09/06 13:53:57

Hi,
I have a Virtual Private Server running under Centos. I know its 4.x, but I'm not quite sure of the exact version. Runing uname reveals:

Linux version 2.6.8-022stab067.1-enterprise

Any ways, I thought "/proc/diskstats" was standard for 2.6 kernels, but on my box I can't locate it. Should I have "/proc/diskstats" or is this something Centos doesn't have? If I'm suppose to have it any ideas why I don't?

Thanks in advance. Scott.

Ok I talked to my Virtual Private Server provider. Since there are more than 1 account on the same physical box, I don't have access to /proc/diskstats.

thanks anyways
