YUM not installed?

I'm not a total newbie when it comes to Linux, but I am stuck on this one as it's specific to CentOS...

I found out today that a critical server of mine was not updated with the DST fix. I eventually found out this is because I am not getting automatic updates through YUM because for some reason YUM isn't installed. Weird thing is this is 1 of 2 CentOS servers I have and the other one has yum and updated fine...

Can someone tell me how I install yum (from command line, this is remote-- no GUI installed) and get automatic updates for my CentOS server?

Much appreciated,

if it's centos 2:
rpm -ivh http://mirror.centos.org/centos-2/final/i386/CentOS/RPMS/yum-1.0.3-1_73.noarch.rpm

if it's a different version, look for an address like above, just change the version.
