Dell 2950's (dual proc, dual core) + 16GB RAM + SAS RAID5 + Qlogic QLA2432 + EMC CLarion cx500 + CentOS 4.4 64bit + Infromix 10.064bit = $90,000 Unix system replacement (I kept the EMC)... 2850's for some cheapper dev boxes.

SO = Centos 4.4
Oracle 9i (9.2.0.7)
Generic PC
Intel Xeon 3Ghz
2Gb Ram
HDD Sata 160Gb
In production since march, we never had problems with it, about 40 concurrent users

I posted the original success-stories question awhile back.
This is an update.
Since January 2006, we have three machines now running Centos4.2,
Oracle and Oracle application server.
No problems, ever.

My configuration in production :
1 server Hp xeon ,2 Gb ram,Oracle 10gR2 with 3 instance (10 concurrent user's),Centos 4.4,2 Sata Disk 80Gb.A
It's work fine from 2 year.
No reboot since 1 year.
Very Stable.Mythic S.O.

I have nothing to say, but completely satisfied in using Centos and Oracle. It's been a long time that I haven't hear any updates how this will works from several platform and languages, so I suggest to come up with new features instead.
