I was just wondering if there will be a CentOS that will work on the PS3 i love CentOS and use it as my distro on every linux pc I have and would love to see it on my PS3 instead of fedora core or yellowdog also I hope rpmforge will be availabe for it cause thats like one of the best repositories.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but the PS3 is using a Cell processor (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PlayStation_3#Hardware) and not a PowerPPC .
I don't think you'll see CentOS running one day on such box ... same rule for RPMForge, except if you buy a PS3 and send it to them ... :-D

Incidentally, IBM donated a PS3 to CentOS (see www.centos.org) :D

Actually it is based on PPC architecture

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cell_microprocessor#Power_Processor_Element

Actually I found this guide, ut I do not have the HW (PS3)
