Hi guys~ I really would like to have your help and comments with the captioned issue.
Recently, I just got a new server and installed CentOS 4.4 64-bit on it to serve as a web server, however, I just heard that Frontpage Server Extension has stopped its support on Linux platform, and that the current available download for Linux can only work Linux 32-bit platform but not 64-bit.

Frontpage Server Extension is a must for my server, so I'm having a headache whether to switch back to 32-bit platform, if it's the only solution. :-( Isn't it right that 64-bit platform should be backward compatible with 32-bit applications? If I'm really to switch back to 32-bit platform, how will that perform against 64-bit platform?

Can somebody give me a hint on this? Million thanks!

You should be able to use any 32-bit applications on your 64-bit systems (x86-64).
