I have CentOS4.7 server with Cpanel and WHM and I'd like to uninstall Java from it. How do I go about this? Also, how do I remove Tomcat?
Many thanks.

Ask Cpanel/WHM .. that's the reason why you bought support from them and modify your CentOS so that it's not a CentOS system anymore, right ?
If the yum configuration isn't too much broken/modified by that stupid Cpanel team, consider using `yum remove` to automatically remove what you want ..

No, it's not the reason and no I don't have support. Your post sound bit hostile towards Cpanel... I don't care for the politics and I was simply looking to find some help here. Thank you.
