SSH [adduser - don't know how to remove user]

Post by SSHNewb » 2007/08/02 20:40:31

Hi All,

I added a user in ssh like so:

adduser [username]

so that they could log in SSH... unsure on how to remove it... using CentOS 4.2

No.

man deluser

will display the manual page for deluser.
Read it.

Hi,

userdel -r [username]

or
/usr/sbin/userdel -r [username]

This will take out the users directory in /home also
