pam stopping automount

Post by doughairfield » 2010/01/15 15:22:43

Hi, i'm attempting to get home directory automounting to work for my CentOS4 hosts when using ldap.
I've got the hosts authenticating to 389-directory server for user auth, but using the local /etc/auto.master and /etc/auto.home to auto mount the home directories.
For my CentOS5 hosts, this setup works fine, I didn't have to modify /etc/pam.d/system-auth to get this working. In CentOS 4 it's giving me the error:
sshd(pam_unix)[16293]: authentication failure; logname= uid=0 euid=0 tty=ssh ruser= rhost=dev2 user=foo
when I try to ssh in. I verified I can nfs mount /home from the nfs server but something is blocking it in my CentOS4 hosts.

Any ideas?
