CentOS Firewall

hi, i installed CentOS 4.0 this morning and the standart firewall on the CentOS 4.0 CD's.
i configured everything but i don't know how to open ports with it.

i hope someone can tell me how i open ports with it, thank you :D

I'm going to suggest that you look at the iptables man page (man iptables) and take a look at the iptables tutorial at http://iptables-tutorial.frozentux.net/iptables-tutorial.html. You will be much better off troubleshooting and fixing any problems in the future if you understand iptables. Also, you should understand the full implication of any firewall rules you configure.

This will allow any computer to connect to ports 22 and 80 on your machine
iptables -A INPUT -p tcp -m multiport --destination-port 22,80
