poptop trouble

I've installed poptop with ppp and dkms on centOS 4.4, but when I try to connect from windows xp i got an error 628 or 619.
I don't know why with this configuration on rhel5, there's no problem.

i've installed pptpd on several centos 4.x in the past (even if i dislike pptp) but it was working ok ...
