Unable to connect route

Post by naruponk » 2007/05/02 07:59:37

Hi, all

I'm new to CentOS, I have installed CentOS 4.4.
I need to access to internet from my server using router (192.168.1.1)
I have set server's network as 192.168.1.99/255.255.255.0 and set default gateway to 192.168.1.1.
But server can not connect to internet or even any computer in network

When I try to ping to router or any computer I got "Destination Host Unreachable"

What's wrong? :-(

Thanks for advance

[code]
# ifconfig
# route -n
# cat /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0
# cat /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/eth0.route (if any)

Thanks man, I can solved it.
I just change cable from port1 to port2
But I still don't understand why it shown as eth1:1 (Active) why not eth1:2?
