what chipsets are supported by Centos 4.8?

I know there is a RHEL page listing certified systems, so one could work out from that if you had a lot of time on your hands.
But I would like to know what mainboard chipsets are a goer (provided you have old graphic card and supported ethernet chip et cetera).
Why I am curious is that I can install Oracle linux 4.8 64-bit on an Intel P35 board, and I noticed in the Centos 5 forums that some poor sods could not install that on a P35.
I am told that Oracle improved support for AMD hardware in their releases, and it seems for Intel as well.
Does anybody have a list of northbridge/southbridge chipsets that Centos 4.8 considers friendly?

Just what TUV provides; however, it is really a moot point as new installs should not be using CentOS 4.8. The whole series goes EOL in a matter of days.
