ERROR : asr : invalid RAID config table

Post by krazybob » 2010/11/15 00:06:40

I had a 3Ware 9550SX RAID controller in a system that would not load Virtuozzo 3. So I deleted the array created by the 3Ware 9550SX controller before removing it and one drive from the CentOS 4.8 server. Virtuozzo 3 won't allow CentOS 5.x. Even though I deleted the array using the 3Ware utility first when the server boots it shows an error:

ERROR : asr : invalid RAID config table

How can I clear and remove the table without having to reload the OS? Can I? Do I need to run the Seagate Tools and reset the drive?

I don't think a complete system configuration is needed for the question but the motherboard is a Super Micro P4SC8 Intel 3GHz 4GB RAM with a Seagate Barracuda NL750.

Thanks in advance.
