You have a failing drive and are [b]seriously[/b] behind on updates. Backing up and replacing the drive as soon as possible is indicated, preferably while booted from rescue or LiveCD media, or at least another drive. You may also want to try a [url=https://www.centos.org/search.php?query=ddrescue&mid=30&action=showall&andor=AND]forum search for rescue tools[/url].

Just to make sure we are understanding each other - you need to replace the [b]hard drive[/b], not the driver.
