AR8121/8113/8114 LAN driver required

Post by sub31 » 2009/10/06 09:10:27

CentOS 4.8
Motherboard ASUS P5Q Pro

Required driver for NIC Atheros AR8121.

I found some source tarball on support.atheros.com but this package is not function. I can install driver. This driver provide me eth0. I can see network but ... Some applications have segmentation faults and missoperability. When I disable this NIC and install another then all network applications work well.

Where to get correct driver?

Please run the following command and post the output:
for BUSID in $(/sbin/lspci | awk '{ IGNORECASE=1 } /net/ { print $1 }'); do /sbin/lspci -s $BUSID -m; /sbin/lspci -s $BUSID -n; done
Excuse me for long pause but operating system do not have drivers inside. Drivers from chipmaker is making a look of work.
This driver drop some packets and destroy data on network mounted storages.

I install another card in this computer and swich off this device from BIOS of motherboard. Motherboard is ASUS P5Q Pro.
