Post by tommi » 2005/10/31 12:35:44

Hi,
a few people are posting always the way to build the hpt37x.ko from source.

I mange this with no probs and I can load it by hand.

But the driverdisk, which howto is always posted here isnt ok.

Always when loading the driverdisk a can see on console 3 that the hpt37x2 is foung in modules.cgz
but the system isnt able to load it.

So, if somebody was able to build the driverdisk with the hpt37x2 for centos 4.1 or centos 4.2 ,

could this genie plz post an image of this disk ??????

Pppplllllllllllllllllllllzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

thanks.

If you only need the modules for your centos 4.1 or centos 4.2 box,
I can mail you the compiled hpt37x2.ko modules for all your needed
kernel versions.

how do you compile the hpt driver? I need to compile for fedora 4 & red hat enterprise. I kept getting errors.
