Hi,
I have problem to operate the eth0 card on CentOS/RedHat AS 4.1.
I have two OS install on the same computer each OS have its own disk and partitions.
The old OS RedHat 8 recognize and use the net card for a long time.
I didn't do any special definition to install this net card.
The new OS CentOS 4.1 identify the net card at boot but can't activate it.
Here are the message at boot:
Oct 10 10:11:15 localhost kudzu: aliased Configuring Digital Equipment Corporation DECchip 21041 [Tulip Pass
3] as tulip
Oct 10 10:11:46 localhost kudzu: ran netconfig for eth0 (Digital Equipment Corporation DECchip 21041 [Tulip
Pass 3])
Oct 10 10:12:01 localhost network: Bringing up interface eth0: failed
Oct 10 10:20:51 localhost ifup: tulip device eth0 does not seem to be present, delaying initialization.
Any idea will be appreciate.
Regards,
Addady
eth0 work on RH 8 but not on CentOS 4.1
