support for ntfs

i have used the instructions on the website below to install ntfs support on centos
http://linux-ntfs.sourceforge.net/rpm/instructions.html

but where is my hard drive meant to appear? i can't seem to find it anywhere :-?

You will need to mount it like any other partition. So for example you would make the directory:

mkdir /ntfsdisk

and then mount the partition

mount -t ntfs /dev/hda1 /ntfsdisk

then you can read files from /ntfsdisk. Note I have assumed that your ntfs partition is the first one on your first IDE drive (/dev/hda1), but your system may be different.
If you want this to happen automatically at boot time then you will need to add a line to /etc/fstab

/dev/hda1 /ntfsdisk ntfs exec,dev,suid,ro,umask=000 0 0

for example.

it worked with hdd1
