Cisco Aironet 350 Client Adapter

Post by LoupGarou » 2005/03/10 15:09:50

I recently installed Centos4, and am trying to use the Cisco Aironet 350 Wireless LAN Adapter on my laptop. The system seems to recognize the hardware, the problem seems to be in being able to use it. I installed aironet-utils-2.0-2.rhel3.dag.i586.rpm from dag's repository in the kernel-modules-mpi350 directory.

Now I know that this is for the RHE3, which one would think would be able to work but unfortunately it does not. When I run the acu program it installes it comes back with a message telling me "No radio found", and yes I do have the card plugged in when attempting to run the program.

Next I attempt to run the leaplogin program. This comes back with an even more interesting message, "leaplogin: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/ undefined symbol: XListInputDevices"

Does anyone know a workaround for this lovely piece of poorly supported hardware, or maybe where to get the source for the acu/leaplogin/etc... programs?

Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
