The message acpi_power_off called

At a command 'shutdown-h' there is a message acpi_power_off called. After that a food is not switched off. In what a problem?

Thats quite an old kernel - current CentOS-4 version is kernel-smp-2.6.9-89.0.9.EL. If an update does not help, try a forum search for [url=]ACPI shutdown[/url] for numerous suggestions.
