CentOS 4 i386 Updates Delayed?
CentOS 4 i386 Updates Delayed?
Sorry to bring up an old topic, but are CentOS 4 i386 updates being delayed?
Here's the outstanding list of security updates that have no matching CentOS announcements:
Jun 22 [RHSA-2010:0499-01] Critical: seamonkey security update
Jun 22 [RHSA-2010:0500-01] Critical: firefox security, bug fix, and enhancement update
Jun 17 [RHSA-2010:0490-01] Important: cups security update
Jun 16 [RHSA-2010:0488-01] Critical: samba and samba3x security update
Jun 15 [RHSA-2010:0474-01] Important: kernel security and bug fix update
Jun 7 [RHSA-2010:0459-01] Moderate: openoffice.org security update
Jun 7 [RHSA-2010:0457-01] Moderate: perl security update
Maybe we just got used to the great job Tru has been doing--security updates usually appeared within days of a RHEL security bulletin--and maybe he's just on vacation.
Not trying to put pressure on anyone; just wondering status...
Thanks,
Sam

Thanks Toracat. You're the man, as always...
Re: CentOS 4 i386 Updates Delayed?
Toracat I noticed you added more unpatched RHEL advisories to the bug report--thanks very much.

This isn't another "Lance" situation, is it? :-)

Thank you for that list, Sam.
I have attempted to find Tru on the usual IRC channels, so as to draw his attention to your latest post, but he is currently unavailable. :-(

Re: CentOS 4 i386 Updates Delayed?
I have had a discussion with Karanbir (z00dax) regarding the status of the CentOS 4 updates and he tells me that he will be communicating with Tru (tru_tru) later today (UTC).
Meanwhile I have been asked to let you known that --

"A batch of updates have been built and are currently being verified for release."
