how to make centos use more than one swap partition?

Hi,
I have just upgraded memory from 512Mb to 1.5Gb, and i need to extend the swap partition which was 1Gb. I did make another partition (2Gb) for swaping but i dont know if i have to do anything else beside adding another lines to /etc/fstab to make the system use the new partition as swap.
If anyone know, please help.
