[RESOLVED] CentOS License

Post by Laou57 » 2011/04/29 08:28:14

I hope I'm in the right place for asking this question... Sorry if I'm not.
I've been looking around in the website to find some information about CentOS license but I couldn't find it.
Can someone help me and (maybe) tell me which license is used for CentOS?

Thanks in advance for your help.

As far as I'm aware it's released under the GPL licence (the same as the upstream vendors product).

Ok, thanks a lot !

I might get tiresome now, but does someone know which GPL version it is: v2 - v3?

The EULA and GPL info can be found on the install media or in the os folder (.../centos/5/os//) on any centos mirror.
