Hi,This isn't really relevant anymore,now I have another problem,I installed the new linux mint and this is my new master grub.When I trie to boot CentOS it gives an error telling to give a valid root option...Here are my entries:
menuentry "CentOS release 5.5 (Final) (on /dev/sda7)" {
insmod part_msdos
insmod ext2
set root='(hd0,msdos7)'
search --no-floppy --fs-uuid --set 7d3e7bc2-2563-4090-b3e5-eecc92ca8dbd
linux /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.18-194.11.3.el5 root=/dev/sda7
}
menuentry "CentOS release 5.5 (Final) (on /dev/sda7)" {
insmod part_msdos
insmod ext2
set root='(hd0,msdos7)'
search --no-floppy --fs-uuid --set 7d3e7bc2-2563-4090-b3e5-eecc92ca8dbd
linux /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.18-194.17.1.el5 root=/dev/sda7
}
menuentry "CentOS release 5.5 (Final) (on /dev/sda7)" {
insmod part_msdos
insmod ext2
set root='(hd0,msdos7)'
search --no-floppy --fs-uuid --set 7d3e7bc2-2563-4090-b3e5-eecc92ca8dbd
linux /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.18-194.17.4.el5 root=/dev/sda7
Someone who can tell me how to change it so I can boot CentOS again?

1. You have hijacked your own thread by changing the question.

2. This no longer seems to be a CentOS question. That looks nothing like a CentOS /boot/grub/grub.conf fragment.

3. I'd still suggest a chainload to CentOS GRUB, but you probably need to ask how to do that on a Mint forum. In order to do that you first need to follow How to reinstall GRUB and write the CentOS GRUB to the CentOS boot partition rather than the MBR.

4. If you need additional help with CentOS issues please start a new topic, with reference to this one if required for context.

It's OK now:I downgraded my Mint grub,restarted Centos,suddenly an error was found: cluster 1023 should be cluster 1024 or something like that...The error got fixed and now I have access to my Centos system (problem solved I would say....)
