PHP not parsing, downloading as a file instead

Post by philwareham » 2011/05/09 12:10:44

I've just got a new CentOS 5.6 server install from my hosting company. It also has Plesk v10.2 on it. I've linked it to the atomic repos and amongst other things upgraded PHP to v5.3.

When I try to open any PHP pages from a domain on this server from a browser the page is being downloaded as a file and not parsed in the browser. What do I need to set to fix this? Something in php.ini or a mime type of something?

Thanks, Phil

Welcome to the CentOS fora. Reading FAQ & Readme First is recommended for new users.

Plesk and Atomic are both well-known for making radical changes, to the point that the result can no longer really be called CentOS. It may to be difficult to get good advice from here. Your best bet is probably to use Atomic or Plesk support channels, although someone here could still come to the rescue.
