How to set up server with dynamic DNS

Welcome to the CentOS fora. Reading FAQ & Readme First is recommended for new users.

No need to worry about being a new forum and CentOS user. We all started there at some time.

Your question is too general to give very specific advice. The links above will point you in the right direction.

Perhaps stating the obvious, but you will need to use a service such as dyndns to have a publicly available address. Many current home/small-office routers have built in support for dynamic DNS, and there are packages available if you want to do it directly on CentOS. Another thing to check on before going too far down the road is to be sure your ISP does not block ports required to run a web server. Many do.

If you have additional questions please ask, supplying details as pointed out in the recommended reading.
