Welcome to CentOS.
New users need to read: http://www.centos.org/modules/newbb/viewforum.php?forum=47

Your question makes no sense. What are you really trying to accomplish?

If you really need fast response, I suggest you run RHEL, and pay for support.

Please do review FAQ & Readme First as Gerald recommended.

PHP and IMAP are not really related at all.

If trying to set up a mail server with IMAP the Wiki /HowTos/postfix article may be useful.

As to PHP, the following yum query will give you some clues as to the available packages:
yum list \*php\*
If you need more help, please return with a smart question in order to get more helpful answers.

There's an IMAP extension to PHP: http://www.php.net/manual/en/book.imap.php
It's pretty useful e.g. for a webmail system. It's also included in the CentOS distribution in the php-imap package.

: and the php package.
Would have been part of the output from the yum query if I had noticed it. :-)
