system-config-httpd and AliasMatch directives

Post by rmortimer » 2008/09/30 12:44:02

I have a server where the users configure it with the system-config-httpd GUI. I have been asked to install a package on it that requires some AliasMatch directives

AliasMatch ^/images/(.*)$ "/var/www/html/app/images/$1"
AliasMatch ^.*$ "/dev/null"

Is there any way I can get these in using the GUI and If not can I protect them from being overwritten by the GUI

PS Alias match can not go in .htaccess as far as I can see

I am sure if you add it to the template then the GUI won't remove it.

/usr/share/system-config-httpd/httpd.conf.xsl
