keystore type - JBOSS 4.2.3.GA - CentOS 5.2

Post by standbyuser » 2008/08/14 23:20:36

hi folks....

I am a newbie for Linux. I am trying to host a website in the local machine with SSL for testing purposes with JBOSS 4.2.3.GA, JDK 1.6 , CentOS 5.2.

After all the certificates restored ( chain and CA certificates) i configured SERVER.XML and while am starting the JBOSSS... am getting this ...

ERROR [Http11Protocol] Error starting endpoint

I think its looking for keystore type JKS where is refregin to GKR .. check this keystore contents

[root@localhost bin]# keytool -list -v -keystore sslfinal.keystore
Enter key store password: changeit
Key store type: gkr
Key store provider: GNU-CRYPTO

Key store contains 1 entry(ies)

Alias name: final
Creation timestamp: Wednesday August 13, 2008 AD - 11:27:28;90 o'clock AM GMT-04:00
Entry type: key-entry
Certificate chain length: 1
Certificate[1]:
...................................................................................................

how to change the default GKR to JKS ... or how to resolve the issues with JBOSS and make it work with SSL... please assist.

Highly appreciated.
