Mailman CGI not executed

Post by dunxd » 2008/07/10 22:49:10

I am trying to get mailman set up on my CentOS 5 server.

I installed apache and mailman using yum, and followed the installation of mailman in the docs folder.

When I try and go to http://example.com/mailman, rather than serving me the page, apache is offering the listinfo page for download - this should be executed as a cgi-script. I had done some work on my httpd.conf file, but I have since reverted to the original, and I am still getting this issue, which suggest the problem may be elsewhere. I am banging my head on this.

Any ideas?

Cheers,

Dunx

Ok - now with the same configuration I've managed to get a basic perl hello world script working for another cgi directory, so I guess the problem could be with mailman rather than apache. Very confusing.

Anyone out there got mailman working after installing using yum?
