Install problems CentOS 5 on HP ML330G3

Post by paukner » 2007/05/02 13:37:59

Hello,

I have the following problem:

If I try to install CentOS 5 on HP ML330G3, then hangs the installation after choosing keyboard layout. The complete system hangs and must be power off by power button. On a VMWare installation it works fine.

I have installed CentOS 4, SP4 and it works fine, without problems.

Have anybody an idea what the problem is?

Several keyboard/mouse (PS2 and USB) combinations I have tested without success.

Thanks for your help.
