hi !

just successfully upgraded my centos 4.4 up to 5.
now one small prob appears:

where is my "/etc/sysconfig/harddisks" file and why is the system ignoring my "/etc/sysconfig/harddiskhdd" file @ boot-time ??

I have one hd in the system which I send to sleep after a couple of minutes because it is only used temporarily, so it would be fine if these rhel5-standards would run properly.
as a workaround I just put the hdparm command into rc.local but this is quite dirty ;(

any ideas?

best regards,
