SVN missing libexpat.so.0 while it is present

Post by bd1979 » 2014/05/09 10:33:50

New topic created by a moderator from a thread hijacking on viewtopic.php?f=20&t=19809

Hi, I am having the exact same problem regarding the ld.so.1: svnserve: fatal: libaprutil-1.so.0: open failed: No such file or directory error message and when I run ldd I can see libaprutil-1.so.0 in the output. How did you resolve this issue on the SVN server?

Thanks

Are you using svn on a CentOS client and talking to an svn server on a CentOS server? Or...? What version of CentOS is running on the two machines and is it up to date?

I am using svn through a Subclipse 1.8x plugin for Eclipse and am trying to connect to a svn sever. The same installation of Eclipse will allow connections to the svn server from difference account apart from one, where I encounter the ld.so.1: svnserve: fatal: libaprutil-1.so.0: open failed: No such file or directory error message.

It's running Linux version 2.6.32-431.el6.x86_64.

Thanks for your time and help

Different svn servers work and one fails? Not sure I parsed your post correctly... If so that would point to this being an error on the server and not on your workstation so you'd need to contact the svn server admin.
