Adding UFS module to kernel

Post by tangi » 2014/04/12 13:10:53

I compiled kernel-2.6.18-371.el5 for centos 5.10
also tried kernel-2.6.18-308.24.1.el5 and it was successful.

UFS and OCFS2 are not added to the kernel.
I checked generated .config file after compiling

Code: Select all

cat /boot/config-2.6.18-308.24.1.el5.ufs | grep UFS
# CONFIG_UFS_FS is not set
May be I forgot something?
Thanks :D

Neither UFS or OCFS2 are supplied in CentOS.

OCFS2 is supplied by Oracle.

UFS is in ELRepo.
