Sorry, slightly silly question.
I did a barebones 5 install (Base only).
Currently trying to install VMWare, requires a few development libraries.
Anyway, after I did a base only install, I manually added GNOME desktop, but I'm missing the Add/Remove Packages option. I'm not sure which of the packages in the yum repositories I need to add it back.
Missing Add/Remove Package in GNOME
Re: Missing Add/Remove Package in GNOME
FYI: yum is installed by default even on a barebones install.
You want to at least do: yum install gcc kernel-devel kernel-headers

Re: Missing Add/Remove Package in GNOME
Weird.
Did a manual GNOME install .. Add/Remove [GUI] option wasn't there.
Just manually installed X Windows, Add/Remove option is now in the Application menu in the Gnome desktop.
Crazy, eh?
Anyway, thanks Lenard, good to go.
Cheers,
vk
