Couldn't finddevice with uuid - lvm problem?

Post by radziu122 » 2018/03/08 14:23:38

Hi,

I've got a problem with my 'backup' server . After short power break it cannot boot. I'm not sure what was going on there before reboot. Rescue mode tells that there is no Linux partitions. I'm not linux guru :-|

What's the output from pvs. Did you look to see if you have lost a disk? It's the most likely explanation for this.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.
