Hello!
I have CentOS 6.2, with CSF firewall and WHM. I tested my webserver with apache benchmark and the result was very strange. I killed the server easily.
ab -c 100 -n 8000 MY_IP
Is there any protection against this attack? After this: load average: 166.73, 22.33, 7.64. I have 1.6GB memory.
I would like to setup my server for 30.000 daily visitors. I've wordpress websites.
Thank you very much!
How can I protect my webserver?

Welcome to the CentOS fora. Please see the recommended reading for new users linked in my signature.
With CSF firewall and WHM you don't have true CentOS so advice from here may not be appropriate, and might be detrimental to the health and security of your system.
