Can't connect to internet

Post by phuongvo » 2011/12/26 17:12:22

I have a Centos linux server. Before it worked normally, today there's a problem. There're only IP address inside my university that can connect to my server. Others can't. Could you please give me some reasons and how to fix it?

I also try to change IP of server to another one. But It still didn't work :-( It can only connect to IP, websites inside my lab, my school. It can't connect to google or wiki.....

when I try to use traceroute to google.com, It gives the following result:

traceroute to google.com (74.125.53.104), 30 hops max, 60 byte packets
1 220.70.1.254 (220.70.1.254) 1.486 ms 1.742 ms 1.753 ms
2 10.200.0.17 (10.200.0.17) 1.386 ms 1.408 ms 1.405 ms
3 10.0.20.1 (10.0.20.1) 5.255 ms 5.589 ms 6.183 ms
4 203.253.30.17 (203.253.30.17) 1.318 ms 1.328 ms 1.606 ms
5 pw-in-f104.1e100.net (74.125.53.104) 0.734 ms 0.744 ms 0.739 ms

Please help me! Thanks very much

Welcome to the CentOS fora. Please see the recommended reading for new users linked in my signature. The parts about how to ask questions, and how and when to bump a thread are particularly relevant.

It is not clear from your post if you are having problems with incoming or outgoing connections. Please clarify and provide more information about your system by running "./getinfo.sh" and showing us the output file.
