I'm running CentOS 6 ( 2.6.32-754.12.1.e16.x86_64 ).

I have a tp-link AC1300 wireless MU-MIMO USB adaptor (Archer T4U). The sales staff said it would work with a RHEL style OS but I cannot find any RHEL drivers for this adaptor.

Are you aware of any way this device can be made to work with CentOS 6?

If that's a no, can you recommend a wireless adaptor for use with CentOS 6?

Thank you

Post the relevant line from the output of the lsusb command for that adapter.

You'll also need to think about what to do in the future as CentOS 6 only has about 6 months of life left before it goes EOL in November 2020. You should be planning how to migrate to one of the newer versions now.

Building from source is not really the right option. It will break on each and every kernel update and also means that you have to have an entire development environment installed (which is not recommended best security practice). And your link assumes that it's a V1 device when there are v2 and v3's too. Hence the request to post the output from lsusb to identify the correct chipset and also to see if there is a packaged driver available already.
