Adaptec 2010s RAID SCSI Controller unable to detect on installation.

Post by nshong » 2011/07/29 04:23:36

I have an old server HP M150 with Adaptec 2010s RAID SCSI Controller.

I try to install Centos 6, but during the installation unable to detect the storage.

What shall I do?

Welcome to the CentOS fora. Please see the recommended reading for new users linked in my signature.

It seem google believes this is a FakeRAID/HostRAID controller. You could disable RAID in the BIOS and try again. May have to wipe the RAID signature as explained in HowTos/SoftwareRAIDonCentOS5.
