Issue with gnome-applet-sensors

I recently installed Cent-OS 6 from 2-3 days i am trying to start Hardware sensors with thegnome-applet-sensora package. i have most recent command line and i checked in this it shows already installed But the choice doesn't exist on the menu.
it shows it System monitor has quit unexpectedly when i tried to load system. and same further also

My sensors working good in the shell.so harware portion should be there seems to be there

Why would you install CentOS 6 when it only has 8 weeks of life left? Start over, pick 7 or 8 instead. 6 has no future.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.
Info for USB installs on http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/InstallFromUSBkey
CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.
