Difficulty installing chrome remote desktop

After running these commands... i am getting these errors

##### yum --enablerepo=extras install epel-release

You appear to be on CentOS 6 - is that correct? CentOS 6 is very old, it was released in 2010 and now only has about 6 months of life left. There is no chrome-remote-desktop package available for it - I presume that it needs newer packages than are available in CentOS 6.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.
Info for USB installs on http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/InstallFromUSBkey
CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.
