Hi,
simple question: How do I add my own app to the Applications menu?
I google a little but, but the answers are scary... expert knowledge of xml to do that???
Isn't there a button for New, Add, then browse, locate, etc., so I can add my own binary to the Applications menu?
Regards,
Leo

If you have alacarte installed, you should be able to right-click over Applications, and then select Edit Menus.

You're welcome. Not sure about KDE.
Maybe a search for editing kde menus would turn up some info?

Alacart is strictly for Gnome menus.
For KDE, you should be able to right-click the kicker and edit from there by default.
