CentOS 6 died in November 2020 - migrate to a new version!

That is what I am going to try that I need to upgrade centos6 to centos7. I have found some scripts for up-gradation from github https://github.com/godaddy/centos7-upgrade-scripts/
I am going to develop it in my production environment. But it is failing at first while yum update. Is there any another solution for this?

You cannot update because there are no more updates.

There is no upgrade path from one major CentOS version to another. You need to install CentOS 7 (or 8) and migrate your data and settings.

Do not attempt an upgrade from 6 to 7. There may be websites out there telling you how to do so but their instructions are incomplete and usually result in broken systems that require a reinstall to fix. Better to plan a reinstall and do it right than to have to do one in a tearing hurry because $X is "down".
