CentOS server hangs and needs to restart
Re: CentOS server hangs and needs to restart
I have moved this post to the CentOS 6 forum since that is the only version that ships php 5.3.3 and Apache httpd 2.2.15.
Please note that your problem may not be worth fixing on the current machine. CentOS 6 goes End of Life at the end of this month, Nov 2020, and there will be no more security updates (or any other updates). You need to be moving to a newer version ASAP. There is no upgrade path from one major version of CentOS to another so you will need to back up your data, install a fresh copy of the newer distro, reinstall and reconfigure all your apps and restore your data.

CentOS 6 died in November 2020 - migrate to a new version!

read the logs
to help we need some information
although it can be possible, an enterprise distro does not hangs unless it has a hardware issue or an extreme load caused by ddos or application error.
