[root@centos8 ~]# grep -i huge /proc/meminfo
AnonHugePages: 4096 kB
ShmemHugePages: 0 kB
HugePages_Total: 0
HugePages_Free: 0
HugePages_Rsvd: 0
HugePages_Surp: 0
Hugepagesize: 2048 kB
Hugetlb: 0 kB
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

And how do you check if it has reached 100%?

If you are using transparent huge pages the only hard limit is available memory. Otherwise 'HugePages_Free: 0' in the above output obviously means that 100% are used.

Is there a way to get this kind of info? Where it shows the %HP?
