connexion a internet

svp comment connaitre que ma machine virtuelle ou j ai installé centos 6 est connecté à internet sachant que j ai choisi comme configuration de réseau NAT et j'ai fait BOOTPROTO=DHCP dans le fichiet /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 alors que quand je fais ping google.com il me dit que c'est unknown alors qu'est ce que je peux faire pour connecter ma machine virtuelle à internet??? je suis dans l impasse aidez moi.

There is an fr.centos.org site which is, strangely enough, in French ;-)
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.
Info for USB installs on http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/InstallFromUSBkey
CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.

how can i connect my virtual machine (where i have installed Centos 6.5) to the internet, i have chosed NAT (in teh configuration of my network) and i have written BOOTPROTO=dhcp in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 , but when i whrite ping google.com they tell me that it is unknown.I M LOSTT WHERE IS THE PROBLEM???

You should probably use bridged instead of NAT.

As mentioned above - just use BRIDGE MODE and be done with it.

thanks i have resoved my problem i have used NAT, i have retryed to connect my machine with the same configuration, i haven't changed anything.
perhaps because, i have desactivated Avast, it s the the only change that i have done. :roll:
