Error importing repomd.xm

Hey guys i get this when i try yum update:


http://www.thelinuxfix.com/yum/RHEL/6/i386/repodata/repomd.xml: [Errno -1] Error importing repomd.xml for tlf: Damaged repomd.xml file
Trying other mirror.
Error: Cannot retrieve repository metadata (repomd.xml) for repository: tlf. Please verify its path and try again


why ?

It seems that that site is no longer a CentOS mirror. Try `yum clean all` then retry the original command and hope it picks a different mirror next time.

If more help is needed then please [url=http://www.centos.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=28723&forum=54]provide more information about your system[/url] by running "./getinfo.sh package" and showing us the output file.

$ ./getinfo.sh package
-bash: ./getinfo.sh: No such file or directory

it was in my yum repos... there was a damaged file called tlf.repo now i understand the logic of it.


hey but my getinfo is not working for real! i don't have a bin bash folder only bin... no bash.

You apparently failed to [i][b]read[/b][/i] the [url=http://www.centos.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=28723&forum=54]link[/url] and download the script to the current directory, denoted by ".", or to "cd" to the directory in which it resides, or to "mv" it to the current directory, or to supply the full path.
